Heavy-handed hero, "McLintock". A redeemed soul in "Angel and the Badman".
Who could not enjoy ANY John Wayne movie/ McLintock was right up there with the best of his films. "Angel and the Badman" also is a very good movie but of a whole different characterization for John Wayne.
