A nice item, IF the person who made it had finished. The brass holder has “flash” covering the blade, which makes it impossible to use. I’ve tried some gentle filing but can’t go farther without damaging the iron blade. Was going to use for a medical display, but it will take a lot more handwork, that could have been avoided during the casting.
