    easy to use

    I would not have a working coffee maker last as long as my Braun has if it were not for regular water filter changes. I had a Krupp previously and it did not have the option of having replaceable water filters. My coffee maker did not last as a result of the water that eventually clogged it up. The coffee tastes better as well. no bitterness. you can actually tell when you are getting near a filter change because of the slight bitterness in the brewed coffee. After the filter is in the coffee taste reflects the difference.

    Why aren't all of the filter packages "Braun" brand?

    The filters appear to work fine but of the 3 filters in the box only one had the official Bran packaging which makes me wonder if the other 2 are generic, which wasn't mentioned in the product details. They did ship fast.
