It took 10 times the energy, as the factory could have, if the bearing had been pre-fitted.

Accidentally ordered the wrong part for my ‘48 Ford 8N. Messaged seller, and with a photo of the steering box they were able to identify that it had been replaced with a ‘50-‘52 model steering box at some point over the years. They directed me to the right part. They accepted the return of the old part with full refund and shipped out the new part promptly. I will definitely use them again for future part needs.
