It is very tight to begin with but with some massaging and several hours with the knife in the holster, the leather is beginning to stretch to the contours of the knife and is becoming easier to extract. I'm sure with more time it will become easier to get the knife out of the sheath. The leather color, stitching, fit and finish is exemplary and a complimentary match for the quality of the knife itself. Rides comfortably on the hip.
