Molly Marches On
This little book is a story about Molly McIntire, an American Girl in 1944, during the war. The actions of this young girl in a camp setting show bravery, ingenuity, friendship and struggles to maintain friendships. The Molly stories remind me of my youth, though I was a 50's baby, still the same life style existed to a certain extent. I bought the book as a Molly collector and to complete my set of little books in this series. Although American Girl has a consolidated book of all the little books available now,I like the little books best. The history is accurate in this series and is a good educational tool for the young readers, ages 8 -12.
