The CD box set was exactly as described.  it was sent in a thin bubble wrap envelope. Unfortunately, the corners were damaged and a dent in the top. The seller is good in that they have hard to find items. I am choosing not to return it because it’s very difficult to find.  It’s just too bad they don’t use more secure packaging.

    Pure Gary

    I like a lot of Gary's music, so I thought I'd give "Living Hard" a try. I have to say that it's just what I expected: another quality album from a quality artist. I really like Gary's ability to go out and rock a song but then with the next song, take it down to a more slow/sentimental side. This album is no exception. Some of the better more upbeat tracks would be "Like It's a Bad Thing" (awesome live!) and "She's So California." Then, like I said, he can slow it down, as heard on "As Long As You're Looking Back" or "Yesterday's Rain." I could sit here and write reviews for each track, but that wouldn't really sum up this album, it's better if you go online and listen to previews of the songs. It's pretty much classic Gary. The only gripe I have with the cd, and a lot of cds out ...

    Gary Allan Rocks It Out!!!!!!!!!

    First of all, I bought this CD because my girlfriend had left me and I wanted to get over her. Somebody wrote about Gary Allan's "Living Hard": "If you get dumped by your girlfriend, buy this CD!" Well, I did - with absolutely no regrets. Why? Because... "We Touched The Sun", "She's So California" and a "Wrecking Ball" I was "Watching Airplanes" too, all I wanted to do was "Trying To Matter" and right now I am walking in "Yesterday's Rain". To sum it up, all of those songs deeply touched me and - by the way - it's awesome music although or simply because it is a mix of (Hard) Rock, Country, and Blues. Anyway, Gary is a great musician and this is just a great CD. :-)

    Living Hard by Gary Allan

    I have always been a big fan of Gary Allan. This new CD of his did not let me down. It is a great showcase of his vocal talent. His voice is unique and distinctive. This CD has all facets of moods from slow love songs to fast fun songs. I highly recommend it to any fan of Gary Allan or Country Music in general.
