The computer animated comedy stars John Goodman as James 'Sulley' Sullivan and Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski, two workers at a power plant in the fictional otherworldly city of Monstropolis. Their troubles begin when a chameleon lizard coworker named Randall Boggs allows a young girl to enter their realm. They've dealt with bugs and toys. Now, Pixar is dealing with monsters. And, boy, does it amaze. The character development and characterizations are consistent. The stakes are high. The villains aren't designated. Things get thrilling. Another slam dunk for Pixar.

Great movie!-needs explaining for younger children.....
Both of my young sons enjoy this movie, ages 3 and 4.5 y/o. I just think it needs a bit explaining for their age. My children have had no problems YET with monsters in the closet or under the bed so I was a bit nervous the 1st time we watched it wondering if they WOULD start wondering about monsters in their closet, LOL! I found I had to explain a few things and older children may follow the meaning behind the movie better, but still my 2 young boys enjoy the movie. Great for adults as well with some great funny lines!Both of my young sons enjoy this movie, ages 3 and 4.5 y/o. I just think it needs a bit explaining for their age. Excellent movie! Was purchased used but, I would have never guessed that it had been previously viewed :-) And once my kids are done, I can resale it, unlike a DVD. Man, I hate DVD's!!!!!! To bad the folks that did away with VHS don't have kids!!! My kids were able to operate their own movies then came DVD's :-( Try letting your kids operate DVD's on their own and things can get quite expensive!!!!!!! So glad to still be able to purchase VHS!!!!! THANKS A MILLION!!!!!!!!!!Excellent movie!
