    DO NOT waste your money! Absolutely NO increase over SATA 2!!

    I ordered this card to give me Sata 3 speeds on a mac pro 5.1 . Have just gone through the process of speed comparison of SSD installed on a Sata 2 port on my local machine and then the same drive installed on this card. Using Blackmagic for comparision. I am getting better performance off the sata 2 port on my local machine than this card!!! I therefore do NOT recomend anyone else waste their money on this card you'll likely get better performance off your existing SATA 2 ports. Not happy at all!

    Very satisfied!

    Used it for nearly two weeks, everything seems to work as expected. On my mac, it was plug&play. When installing my main OS-SSD on this card, it worked 'out of the box' and booted as normal without any hazzle. It's nice to be on SATA3, the increase in speed is noticeable, especially when moving og reading large amounts of data, feels good :)
