Synopsis
A gripping and emotional novel that will leave you wondering about the neighbors next door... On a cold January night, Sharon Lemke heads outside to see a lunar eclipse when she notices something odd at the house behind her backyard. Through her neighbor's kitchen window, she sees what appears to be a little girl washing dishes late at night. But the Fleming family doesn't have a child that age, and even if they did, why would she be doing housework at this late hour? It would be easy for Sharon to just let this go, but when eighteen-year-old Niki, a former foster child, comes to live with Sharon, she notices suspicious activity at the Flemings' house as well. Clearly a little girl lives there, even if Suzette Fleming denies it. When calling social services doesn't result in swift action, Sharon and Niki decide to investigate on their own., A gripping and emotional novel that will leave you wondering about the neighbors next door...On a cold January night, Sharon Lemke heads outside to see a lunar eclipse when she notices something odd at the house behind her backyard.Through her neighbor's kitchen window, she sees what appears to be a little girl washing dishes late at night., A gripping and emotional novel that will leave you wondering about the neighbors next door...On a cold January night, Sharon Lemke heads outside to see a lunar eclipse when she notices something odd at the house behind her backyard. Thanks 2 This Seller 4 Delivering An Item Exactly As It Was Pictured, & Described 2 B N. I Was Concerned At 1st, When Finding The Package N My Mail Box, As I Heard It Rattle, So, Not 2 Agrivate It Any Further, I Was Very Careful Upon Opening It, As I Found That The DVD Was Loose, & Not On The Hub Within The DVD Case. From My Past Xperiences, This Is Usually A Bad Sign, As The DVD's R Usually Scratched, But Luckily, This 1 Still Arrived N Xcellent Cond. I Highly Recommend This 'Saved' Seller! 👍

Far and away the ugliest seller I have encountered in more than 20 years. (eBay tells me it's 21.) Sent a book described as good, but it was underlined IN INK from cover to cover!!! Mistakes can happen, but this seller ignored three emails, and when I submitted photos and asked for a full $21.39 refund for this worthless book, I was offered $4.99. She just wanted to get me irritated all over again. When eBay intervened and saw photos, a full refund was immediate. Avoid her like the plague!

Shipping: Shipped the day of the sale; arrived in 5 days in my city, but then the post office sent my package to Colorado. It took another 10 days to get delivered. Packaging: as expected As described: described as NEW. The books do look NEW until you at the page edges which are tanned to almost yellow. Books were probably never read, but they probably sat in sunlight for a long time. Value: Despite yellow-tan page edges, these books were a great value.

  • Good but not a mind benderr.

.Interesting but a little to "hallmarkish" for my taste - like a G rated movie - no "rub" as in controversy. She's a good, simple, easy to understand writer who leaves nothing to the imagination, but a 5 star for those who prefer that kind of book.
