    Vintage...N scale turntable, hand operated

    I had one of these some 50 years ago, perhaps 55 years, as it was before I was married, and was in HO gauge trains....and here it is, all these years later, still the same....and pretty much pristine...if one collects boxes, a little dog eared...but the product was spot on as was the delivery and packaging ! Even the small plastic bag with screws was stapled shut !!

    Works well, but slow

    The item uses a geneva mechanism to ensure that it stops in the exact location each time, which it does and it works quite well. The only real downside is that there is a long delay at each location, a few seconds.

    Lightweight and easy to use.

    It is so simple to install on the layout and to change from manual to motor operating is a breeze. Also, you do not have to cut a hole in your layout.

    Turntable Motor

    I have not installed the N scale turntable motor yet as I am not up to that point in my layout build. I do have an Atlas HO scale turntable and motor and this works beautifully. The N scale one looks exactly the same except smaller. I would expect as with all Atlas products it will work just fine.

    Turntable review.

    I like that it is flush mounted but I am worried about the rubber band drive in the motorized part of the setup.
