    Very nice machine if the video system still works.

    The 2011 model upgraded with the Radeon 6970m video card had superior performance over the standard 6770m card that same year or the previous year models or the following year models of same size with the i5 or i7 CPU. But there was a basic flaw in either that video system or the cooling of that card or the whole case. It runs HOT. Many failed and there was an extended exchange or repair of those models for a couple years longer. Apple ceased that years ago. Now only a very expensive replacement card, used probably, is the only repair. It is rare to find a fully operational unit for less than $500 USD. There are a few for much less for parts or repair, but I don't know how easy that is done. My unit was bought used about 7 months ago. I use it occasionally, hoping that its old parts ...

    A Classic

    This is a classic machine that still holds up well today. While longevity is not as good as older Apple products in my view, with the machine being somewhat prone to developing graphics card issues over time, with the memory maxed out, a classic flat screen iMac, as long as it functions, is still plenty fast enough to run older software, edit videos and get most other modern computing tasks done. Just don't expect it to last a lifetime.
