Many books are taller than this, so do not fit (unless placed flat). Once constructed, the unit is quite sturdy. Overall I am happy with the purchase given the space I needed it to fit in and the price. Thanks.

Also, one dowel hole was about 1/2" off center. I expanded the hole by drilling next to it, but someone without a power drill would have been unable to complete the assembly. More frustrating (and a lot more screws) than I expected for such a small piece.

I have sent them pictures of the wrong item that I received but they keep telling me I am sending photos in the wrong format. When I told them the item I received would not work as it was the wrong size and not what I ordered they told me I didn't understand how the product worked and that they could give me 50% back.
