    Item works as described converting HDMI to VGA only drawback is sound is lost in the process so you will probably want to get an audio cable for HDMI to VGA as well have used for at least one week with no problems to report. I would recommend but be sure to check if its compatible with your monitor.

    can't connect laptop with monitor

    I couldn't able to connect my pc laptop with my monitor by this stuff. I can connect my imac with the monitor by another connector. I informed the company, they turned me back with instructions, but the problem is still going on.

    pc monitor to android tv box

    I have tried 4 different items from different sellers. this is the only 1 that would allow viewing my android tv box onto my pc monitor. via vga to the HDMI using my already existing vga cable from pc monitor then hooking it up to this device and POW!!! magically was able to watch my android tv box using a pc monitor. don't throw away your old monitor make it a tv. screen. great product!!!!

    Did exactly what it was designed to do

    I needed an adapter that would allow me to use my VGA screens on my "modern" laptops that no longer have a VGA port. My screens/monitors are in excellent condition and have a lot of life left. These adapters (I purchased r two of them) allowed me to add another monitor to each of my laptop/workstation so that I could extend the screen workspace by utilizing the extended screen display option on windows (XP, 8 or 10)
