Apparently, the designer never tried installing on a Solenoid with other needed wires. The plastic on the ends is too close to the metal ring terminal. When you bend it flat, so it fits the terminal it is ALMOST impossible to get washer and nut on the terminal.

This is an OEM factory replacement part for a factory solenoid. Will not work with oversized HD aftermarket parts
