Great improvement over factory trigger.
Lowered the trigger pull down to less than 4 lbs. Probably too light for a carry gut but, I plan to mainly use this gun for a range/target gun. I can change the springs if I want to increase the trigger pull weight in the future. The kit I received said it was for a 9mm or 40 S&W only; I ordered it for a 45 ACP. I gave Apex a call and they told me the kit is the same for the 45 and it works fine. The trigger that came in my M&P 2.0 wasn’t terrible but, the Apex kit is a huge improvement. The take up, reset and trigger pull are all much better. I did have to use a vise to install the new trigger onto the trigger bar. Gunsmith installation is recommended but, it can be done at home if you have the right tools. There are some good videos on You Tube for helping with the job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality Control
I've installed dozens + of these and about 1/3rd of the time the M&P trigger shoe is defective and the frame of the shoe collapses when driving the pin. It should not take thousands of psi to move a trigger shoe pin (only ever seen it on the apex). Plan on ordering two kits to maybe get one to work. Did a 1.0 m&p the other day with no issues, today the 2.0 was junk and a waste of $170+Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent upgrade for your 2.0's
Awesome upgrade. Greatly reduces take up and reset. I put it in my 2.0 .45acp and wow! I was skeptical before finally committing to the purchase but now I am going to do my 9mm 2.0 Compact as well. I did the upgrade myself following along a YT video and it was very simple. You can change springs for different weight of pull but I went with the lightest combination since the full size 45 is not my carry gun. For the Compact I will probably go with a 5-6 pound pull weight. I am just not a fan of the hinged factory trigger and this Apex trigger sure took care of that.

I consider this one of the best purchases I've made. I was shooting good groups but they were always off the bull. I have really large hands and the forward set on this trigger helps me keep my finger on the sweet spot that allowed me put my point of impact right in line with my point of aim. Although this was the biggest improvement for me, the almost negligible travel but tactile feel of the reset is nothing short of amazing. Apex tactical just an awesome trigger
If you love gun's and want the best that you can possibly get. Apex tactical is it, I bought a brand new 2.0 compact loved the gun, did some research on Apex trigger I thought it was all hype but I took a chance and I'm telling you it's the best thing I could have done. Almost all the take up is gone I have a short crisp trigger and the rest well if you are not paying attention you can dump a mag fast. I purchased this trigger kit for my full size 2.0 I like it so much I bought one for my 2.0 compact this trigger has a very minimal take-up about .5 mm or so followed by a very crisp trigger pull with a very small amount of overtravel ( only noticeable in dry fire) the reset is very tactile and audible my only complaint is the shoe is a little wide making it harder to transition from stock hinged trigger to this one with safety in center if your on the fence go ahead and jump on over to this side you won't be disappointed

This trigger has the best reset of any trigger I have used. Easy to install and has many pull weights you can adjust to by using springs supplied. Pull rate at 5lbs as I set up. They should supply the different combinations of spring combos that change the weight to your needs but it is on the apex site. You need this in your M&P!
Not many choices for an aftermarket trigger for your M&P 2.0. Thankfully Apex makes some amazing products. If you do nothing else to your M&P it's worth upgrading your trigger with this Apex kit. Is it just like a finely tuned 1911 trigger? No, but what is in a striker fired platform? I will say this is the equal of any aftermarket trigger I have in my Glock platforms. And all of my Glocks are running aftermarket triggers, some in the $200 range. I liked my M&P compared to my Glocks before the Apex upgrade. Now? It's a favorite and can hang with any upgraded Glock. Great improvement over stock trigger.
Took out all the slop and made the reset so crisp. Used it for a 4 day gun course and even the instructors were impressed with how great this trigger was. Comes with options to adjust trigger pull if needed. I would recommend this to someone who is serious about competitive shooting or ccw. Absolutely made the M&P Compact 2.0 a sweet shooter. Lightened the trigger to about 4.5 lbs and removed the quirky hinged trigger. Absolutely love this trigger so much I have ordered one for my Glock 19 and my shield as well. The flat faced trigger is a beauty too.
