"Others have falsely claimed to be the inspiration for Tom Booker in The Horse Whisperer . The one who truly inspired me was Buck Brannaman. His skill, understanding and his gentle, loving heart have parted the clouds for countless troubled creatures. Buck is the Zen master of the horse world."--Nicholas Evans, author of The Horse Whisperer "There's a point in horsemanship when horse and horseman know enough about each other that a third thing, another dimension, begins to be part of the relationship. It's upon this element that the real ride takes place and in Believe we can see the markers along the journey." --Tom McGuane "Buck Brannaman is a remarkable person. Remarkable in that he can communicate on a variety of levels--with people as well as horses--all with one desire, to help free the spirit in everyone involved."--Jill Rappaport, Entertainment correspondent on NBC's "Today Show" and co-author of People We Know, Horses They Love, "Others have falsely claimed to be the inspiration for Tom Booker in The Horse Whisperer. • Insightful book from a simply profound man that can cause positive change.

Buck Brannaman is the real deal. His life and journey, as portrayed in this book reveals a philosophy that will guide even those disinterested in animals into a life of wellness. Simple to read without being simple-minded or inane and over-reaching, Believe will leave the reader believing in the ability of a life that finishes well despite it's beginnings. This book is not a religious exercise but a clear and concise call to live in harmony with one's self, with others and with nature as well as the creatures found within. It is a book that EVERY person who desires to make positive changes in their life can read and should read.

Great Book! This book is very informative when one wants to learn to work with horses on their level. I am using his techniques and have found meraculous results. I suggest this book to anyone who wants to deal with their horse(s) on a higher level!
