    Not sure how this chert would work for arrowheads. I bought it to try my hand at making gun flints. In about an hour or so had some good flint blanks. With a little knapping got to try one of my pistol flints. Not sure how long they will last, but after about 20 sparks still going! May be a little more brittle, but throws better sparks than some of my English flints.
