    Captivating

    I saw the original years back when it originally aired and have been longing for years to see it again. Even better than the original with no commercial breaks and waiting until the next episode. Well done remaster. Sure it's a more narrow format than what we see in a theater but this was made for TV and that is what All TVs looked like back then. I especially liked the extra features and interviews that were not aired originally where I viewed it. I wish there had been footage near the end of the battle between Zulu and the colonist "Sparrows" but other movies have been made devoted to that. This production was devoted to the life and ingenuity of the great Shaka Zulu and in that it did exceedingly well.

    Exciting, informative, fairly historically accurate. Opens your eyes to a different culture. Subtitles needed for hard of hearing. Good story line and follow=thru. Good acting. Long movie, but covers in depth different aspects of the story. The women are bare-breasted throughout which does not detract from the movie, nothing inappropriate. Fighting and deaths are not gruesome. A decade or two ago it would have been frighting but by today's movies and standards it is mellow. There is more violence in cartoons than in this movie. A good buy and money well spent. I give it high marks.

    Shaka Zulu Best TV miniseries from the mid 80s

    I saw this as a kid on TV and wanted a copy as an adult. This is the full version of the film I believe. Awesome show and in remastered color.

    Full Un-Cut Set

    This is the full uncut version with nothing left out. Awesome soundtrack and amazing performance by all characters but especially Henry Cele who plays Shaka. Unforgettable movie.
