  • Must have woodworking book

It might be a little old but this book, and his others, are a fantastic reference book on woodworking. I wish I would have had these books a long time ago.

  • An Easy to Understand Book

My husband has this book in his library of Woodworking books. Every page has at least one picture; most pages are full of pictures. More space is taken up with pictures illustrating a technique than with print. He likes it because of that reason.

  • This is probably the best woodworking book I have ever seen.

This is probably the best woodworking book I have ever seen. Engler does a fantastic job of making it readable for all, with a variety of examples, tips. He gives detailed steps and then demonstrates techniques for both hand tool and power tool options.Great book

  • Excellent Shop Resource

I gave the "series" five stars. While much older there is data in all the books that will remain and can be used currently. Believe it will be a good hard copy resource for reference use.
