    "New" battery is defective and won't charge.

    I needed a 2nd, matching drill to the one I owned, and bought this one, even though it was priced higher than comparable drills only, because it included a battery and both were advertised as new. When I received them, they appeared new. The drill works fine, but the battery will not charge, and the charger yello light indicates the battery is defective.

    A good buy if you already have batteries.

    The drill is a little rough around the edges but it works well enough. It must have a small voltage leak because batteries discharge without use. It's not a big problem - I just don't leave a battery connected when not in use
