    Better then i first expected.

    I wasn't sure what to expect when it see it was a refurbished item, but it came in to use last night after some nasty storms rolled through with a tornado. Power was out for nearly 24 hours i filled it up as much as i could and had it running around id say 8pm and had it run out of fuel just a little after 6am. and it was running my tv,sat box, and surround sound as well as a fridge. So id say its worth the buy, ill also be using it for camping to run an small window ac unit as well.

    This generator is very loud, not near as quiet as claimed!

    This generator is very loud, not as quiet as claimed! You would never be allowed to run this in a camp sight. I will need to build a concrete shelter to deaden the sound so as not to disturb my neighbors who live 100 yards away from me. It is only an emergency back up generator for me, so I will not have to listen to it daily. I would not be able to tolerate the noise for more than an emergency fix on my other quiet Generator, which is a 3500 watt Predator from Harbor Freight, whihc is a much quieter generator.

    The hottest week end of the year and we had AC the whole time

    Bought the generator to power a 30 yr old RV during a 4 day bike rally. The generator ran solid for the full 4 days with out a hitch. And considering the load we put it under, I fell it did the job with out using a lot of gasoline.
