    Great Value!! Precise Fit!!!

    I purchased these (and also the rear hangers with shackles) to replace the badly worn ones on my 1993 Ford F-150 XLT 2WD 300. The rear hangers were replaced at sometime in the past but the forward ones were the original rivet mounted ones. I found all 4 of the Dorman hangers I purchased to be extremely well made. The mounting holes matched up precisely (no drilling or drift-pinning needed)and the powder coating will provide long life. The bushings fit exactly into my leaf springs (had them pressed in at local shop) and the nuts and bolts are severe duty. Note to owners of similar Fords with rear Gas tank: The holes for the rear hanger upper mounting bolts are right next to the gas tank. I had to use my long handle needle nose pliers to place the bolts in the frame mounting holes. I ...

    What I did

    Rather than using the new spring bushing and bolt, I ground the old one flush with the spring, and expanded the bolt hole in the new hanger with a uni bit. The bracket holes lined up perfect, didn't do any thing except stick the bolts in the hole.

    Didn’t fit well

    I bought two of these for my truck and the leaf spring did not fit in the hanging spot. I had to do a little modifying to make it work, so my hangers face is slightly bent outward now with the spring in. It did come with hardware and a bushing though so I was very happy with that.
