    Classic/"Oldie but Goodie" Microsoft Program

    I got this program mainly for the Word 2003. I needed something that was inexpensive, dependable, stable; and Word 2003 fit the bill. It's a classic Microsoft program, without the extraneous bells and whistles, that make the newer Word versions unstable and expensive and use up a lot of memory. Word 2003 is also very intuitive. I'm happy with this purchase.!

    An Oldie, but a Goodie

    Office 2003 is still in my opinion the best Office version released by Microsoft. It avoids the crummy Ribbon menu format introduced in Office 2007. It lacks the features of later Office versions, some of which are useful, but most of which are window dressing. While Office 2003 is not certified to work with Windows 10, I haven't had any problems except one: Outlook 2003 had stopped downloading mail, and required the built-in Repair function, which set everything straight. If not for the lack of support, I would never have left Windows XP, and that and this Office would be all I use. Four out of five stars, because I'm sure the next release of Windows will break this completely.

    Need it for a file format translator

    Haven't installed yet. I bought this antique version to use a file format translator only available in old versions of Word. Since I haven't yet tried to install it, I can't say much. The web warns me it may be a bit of a hassle, but worth the try.

    Older is Better

    It's an awesome product and eliminates the monthly subscription that Windows is now using. I prefer to own my software outright, and the older versions are a much better price. And thank you for the quick shipping!
