    A MUST-HAVE FOR HOME SECURITY AND CONVENIENCE

    Manufactured in the heydays of the General Electric Company, these timers for lamps and small appliances were made to last. I have several of these throughout my house, along with a couple of newer ones by other manufacturers that I am going to "retire". These General Electric Automatic Timers, Model #8110A, are silent and reliable; they were made when quality and American-made pride were integral parts of the manufacturing process. They are more or less "heavy-duty", as they have a thicker cord to handle wattage up to 1800 watts (15 amps). I do not use anywhere near that capacity, as I use these in my living room and in other rooms where I want a table lamp to go on and off in the evening and nighttime. These are a must-have for home security, and for convenience; they do not take ...
