    Vortex is the best

    Great optics and better price. I'm slowly replacing everything I have with vortex products. 1-4x24 was put on a 22lr upper. Great glass, perfect zoom and no busy reticle to distract the small holes from 22. At low light tree rats are easy to get on target with the illuminated dot.

    Scope was mostly what was expected from vortex. Clear, rugged, easy to use. Illuminated reticle was not bright enough for day use. When turned to brighter settings optic was washed out with red light.

    Put this on a 30-30. Very clear easy to adjust. If there is one negative on the scope it is at full power picture becomes harder to find than other brands I have. But for the price can’t beat it.

    Everything I needed Except--------

    Great scope, everything I wanted and needed on my Turkey shotgun. The only thing I would change is to fix the Parallax at 50 yards instead of 100, but that is not what this scope was designed for and really doesn't come into play with a shotgun pattern. I really like the idea that I have crosshairs with a 1.5 MOA dot with out turning on the illumination. The illumination is perfect for low light conditions.

    Good scope at a great price

    Yes there are more expensive scopes and they are probably worth it, but I wanted a good scope without spending the bank. This is a good scope with a great warranty. I just zeroed it in and it did it's job. I would however recommend if your looking to shoot longer than 50-100 meters, buy one with more magnification. Otherwise, I am very happy with this scope.
