I had to modify by pulling the slide beyond the stop to fit my Motorola GK40 battery. I'm very happy with this solution. I got access to my phone with a bad charging port that would have cost $120 to repair. I now have a off line phone, I bought a spare battery for less than $10 also.

This particular unit is not compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 battery. It is also not compatible with Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530T 8GB GSM SMARTPHONE. It was tested on my LG G3 and my battery fit. For those afraid of the unit. The sliding plate is strong and holds the battery in place. Those charging pins DO NOT puncture the gold battery contacts.They are spring loaded and are careful with my battery. I was only able test these three devices I did not try the USB charging port on the side.This particular unit is not compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 battery. Charges at a lower rate and takes longer but more durable
There are two types of universal cell phone battery chargers, this one and the other one you come across often. This Kastar-typr chargers charges batteries at a lower rate and takes way longer compared to the other cheap one. It also doesn't charge my batteries to 100, at best 90 percent charge. BUT it's more durable. The other cheap charger lasts maybe two months before I have to buy a new one. This Kastar one has lasted several months. The key to a long lasting universal charger is to have two batteries and, to never let the spring-loaded holder to close. The weak spot on these chargers is the sliding holder and, as long as you extend it to drop the charged battery , don't close it immediately put in another battery so the slider never closes, this slider won't be stressed opening and ... Battery Charger
This charger works great and it was at a great price as well. Just wish that I had found a charger like this sooner. It works to charge many different batteries and would have saved me from the need to buy so many different chargers, for both cell phones and cameras. Thank you.
