Joseph Arthur returns with the release of the wonderfully melodic and chaotic, near-techno of CRAZY RAIN. This is Arthur's second release in a planned four EPs series for 2008, leading up to the full-length ALL YOU NEED IS NOTHING. The next EPs will be available nationally May 13th and June 24th. An acclaimed painter and Grammy nominated visual artist, Joseph often paints while writing and recording. He has written, performed and produced nearly all of the music released this year, most of which was recorded at his newly opened art gallery in Brooklyn, the Museum of Modern Arthur. Inspired by the success of Joseph's charity single "In the Sun" during the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Arthur was tapped to launch a River Blue in Northern Uganda. A rehabilitation and vocational center, this not-for-profit is successfully empowering children living in camps through music, art and occupational skills. Joseph and the children have recorded over 20 songs together.
