The ultimate in functionality and comfort
This strap is so beautifully designed. A lot of thought has gone into its functionality. Also the materials seems top notch. You can really trust hanging your expensive camera and lens on this strap. For the longest time I have been using no strap at all because I shoot from a tripod for a large part of my work and the standard strap becomes tangled and gets in the way. Because it was such a pain to take the strap on and off I would usually carry my camera in hand. The peak design slide changed all of that. It’s so easy to clip on and off in seconds and I love the length adjustment which slides so smoothly and with great precision. I will be buying the extra base plate for this strap so I can wear it as a over shoulder strap but also attach to my manfrotto tripod as the standard attachment ... Comfortable and versatile!
After quite a bit of research looking for a good replacement to my standard Nikon DSLR strap I settled upon the Peak Design Slide, and I have been very impressed so far! The strap is can be used in a variety of configurations, and is comfortable in all of them. adjustment is quick and easy, although you will need two hands to do so (not that this is a big deal). Removing the strap from the camera body is incredibly quick, which is a huge advantage if you do a lot of shooting with a tripod. The only downside is that it doesn't fold down very compactly, and as such takes up a bit of room in your camera bag. This is being very picky though... For the price, I think you will be hard pressed to find a better product. Great product
I've used a few different straps over the years for my full-frame Nikon. This is easily the best quality so far. Easy to use and adjust. Wide strap is very comfortable. It's one of the few straps on the market that can be used in conjunction with an L-bracket.
