    Denon 3806 dinosaur but love it!

    Arrived on time well packaged unit as described in fantastic shape for age. I ordered remote for unit fairly easy to figure out great power my Klipsch tower speakers are loving it. Sounds great with music or movies replacing a Onkyo tx nr 818 that had Onkyo's chip issue with DTS network chip. Was going to use it till bought new amp but believe i will make this 3806 a permanent replacement could not be more happy.

    The Biggest bang for your buck in stereo receivers !

    Nothings finer than buying and owning some Denon audio. When it comes to quality and sound Denon is top dog. This stereo is a beast its very heavy nearly 50lbs dont put it on any cheap wood shelf. It does tend to run a little on the hot side. Denon should have built in cooling fans on this monster. The remote is pretty complex, although a huge improvement over the AVR- 3805 Overall I rate this AVR-3806 a 9/10. Lots of power capabilities beyond the average audio enthusiast. A true audiophile owners dream. Lots of bass and endless power. Im running a massive set of Cerwin Vega speakers. It runs them hard and clean. I also love all the preamp out puts this stereo has. It has preamplifier outs for every channel if you wanted to bi-amp it. such as in my case, im bi-amping the front. L/R ...

    Denon AVR 3806

    Did not perform, volume control did not work. I had Geek Squad out 3 times to make it work, with no success. Wound up buying a new unit and Geek Squad took the receiver to be recycled.
