A no-brainer.
This unit is virtually noiseless to the human ear. It is entirely passive, so it requires no power source, and as a result has no self-noise. I needed to set up my Alexa Input to my powered speakers, but also keep my Tascam CD/USB player connected, and also have an auxiliary output for my Sony pro field recorder. I took 5 minutes to plug the outputs of each (adapting the output of my Tascam from 2 RCA connectors to a stereo mini plug), and played content from each source to get a rough level. I now have all 3 sources connected to my speakers via this one device that’s the size of 2 decks of cards stacked on top of each other. I’m very happy with the device and highly recommend it for similar uses.This unit is virtually noiseless to the human ear. No Improvement
I purchased this because I had a small amount of interference noise when I plugged a MIDI keyboard and my computer audio into a Y cable to feed audio into one set of speakers. This product did not reduce the interference noise at all. I was no better than using a Y cable.
