    Wonderful Product!!

Been using this product for years, primarily at first to protect sculpture patinas. Now I use it for collectibles such as wooden items, non-precious metal such as copper and brass, older ceramic pieces, even beads. So easy to use: just "stipple" a very small amount on, let it dry for awhile, and buff with a soft cloth. End result is natural - not shiny. If the British Museum uses it for their artifacts, how can you go wrong?! Highly recommended, and it goes a long way for the price.

    Truly awful smell

I’ve used it and it seems works fine but man it smell outrageously strong. I hope the smell dissipates over time because my it is making me nauseous. Don’t apply it in your home unless it’s in your garage or workshop. I’ll be wearing a mask for future applications assuming the stench goes away otherwise I’ll have to look for an alternative product.

  • So glad to have Renaissance Wax in the US.

While stationed in England the land of so much history and items I would like to preserve for many more years then they have survived so far. Let me explain why when I started collecting a vast array of historical artifacts from amazing documents to fine antique tools, silver, brass, pewter so many to preserve what could I do. I began asking the antique dealers what they use or what was the best. The most often mentioned was Renaissance wax. Don't get me wrong I did exhaustive research on who used it where and on what and this was the product. Sold buy all the big dealers in museum supply and used by most of the Museums. Even her Royal Highness. Ok I can not prove that one but take my word It works great.

  • ren wax

Can't say enough about this stuff. Its like an invisible shield of protection for my firearms. It fends off finger prints and wards off moisture. My can has lasted for a very long time. A little goes a long ways. Two thumbs up for a great gun care product.

  • Good product great to protect the jewelry from tarnish to keep that beautiful shine. There's reasons why Jeweler's use this. :)

I use this exclusively for jewelry. And that was not just by chance. I reviewed various protectors to find out what would protect from tarnish - particularly on Sterling Silver. It's nice to keep the shine when you are either going to keep it for later sales or just to keep it protected. This works well. A little bit goes a long ways. Again, a little bit goes a long ways. This is large enough to last a very very long time. It won't always protect the metal forever like a good rhodium plating sure, but it will protect it for some time. You can't go wrong with this product. There is a reason why Jewelers use it. It does have a slight odor to it, but I don't mind it :)
