I love the item! It was just as described. Took a while to get all components synced together but works great! I was somewhat disappointed in it taking 5 days before it shipped instead of the 1 - 2 days as advertised. Seller did respond to my question as to when it would ship but just responded with an arrival date instead when it would ship and no explanation as to why it didn't ship in the 1 - 2 days. The Go-To electrical contact cleaner
(Aside: Seriously, can one describe this product as "enjoyable"? It's just not an applicable term, like, is transmission fluid "enjoyable"?) As a collector of vintage electronics, I use Deoxit D5S6 (and other Deoxit products) regularly. Use it before resorting to taking apart delicate (i.e., old) switches. It also improves connectivity with household plugs and switches, but use sparingly. "Knock offs" of Deoxit just don't seem to work as well and as long in my experience. If the spray does not work, it's back to careful disassembly of the item and judicious use of needle files...very time consuming but necessary. For bulky, robust electrical connections, consider almost any brand of dielectric gel. Finally, once while driving an older car, the ignition switch stopped working. Just by ... One of 2 channels in my older-model Tektronix oscilloscope show no signal. I read where the switches for this model can fail because of corrosion or oxidation in their contacts. Spraying a standard contact cleaner on the switch didn't correct the problem, so I purchased DeoxIT and tried it. No luck. So, the question is, does the channel not work because of a dead component on the 'scope board? Or, is the problem indeed oxidation of the switch contacts, but DeoxIT fails to clean them? Or, am I not using the product correctly? I really can't tell at this point.One of 2 channels in my older-model Tektronix oscilloscope show no signal. I purchased this to clean up the potentiometers (pots) that control the volume, bass, treble, and balance on a 1979 solid state tuner that I was given. The balance was very crackly and hardly had a left channel on speakers 'a' or 'b'. After giving them a good spray with this a couple times and a couple of days to dry, this thing works and sounds as new!!!! My vintageTechnic turntable's pitch control was inconsistent. Wouldn't hold speed. Couple squirts of DeoxIT and it smoothed out instantly. Didn't even have to take it apart. Just sprayed under dial. Amazing stuff. Going to use it on an old KLH Model 24, see if it will bring it back to life.

A gem of a Product
This product is fabulous for alleviating noises, hisses, and pops in electronic equipment due to oxidation or other age-related issues with switches and other parts. I use it on my vintage stereo equipment (1970's tuner-amplifier and reel-to-reel deck) and it keeps the gear in near perfect condition, free of annoying noises. Amazingly, I've also used it on the electronic control board and throttle for the electric motor on my boat. It totally eliminated corrosion issues.
