    I bought this book because a close friend of mine highly recommended my girlfriend and I go through it. My friend and his wife read the book together before marriage and in their first year and found it really useful in building a strong relationship. Since purchasing it, my girlfriend and I have gone through the first eight chapters and have really enjoyed getting to know each others likes and dislikes. I have learned a few things about my girlfriend that I did not know or expect from her. I have heard people criticize the book in saying that it teaches people to "scratch each others backs", but I believe that it is showing me how to serve my girlfriend (hopefully my future wife) and ensure a strong relationship with her.
