    A Documentary More Compelling Than Fiction

    You've heard it before... trite though it may sound, I give this book TEN stars! I believe that a lot that could be said in reviews, here, has been said in words more eloquent than mine. However I would have to add a number of thoughts here, first and foremost, that a person would be remiss in claiming to truly comprehend the core value of The Titanic disaster without "A Night to Remember" on their bookshelf. Lord's narrative, based primarily on early 1950's survivor interviews, is limited to what was witnessed to have actually happened that night and what was most actually known to have been said, by witnesses, carefully validated for their authenticity, presented in a highly readable style. In my opinion, this is THE reference of all other works on The Titanic disaster. If you ...
