About this product

Product Information

Introduction to Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics , 7/e, presents comprehensive coverage of the subject of thermodynamics from a chemical engineering viewpoint. The text provides a thorough exposition of the principles of thermodynamics and details their application to chemical processes. The chapters are written in a clear, logically organized manner, and contain an abundance of realistic problems, examples, and illustrations to help students understand complex concepts. New ideas, terms, and symbols constantly challenge the readers to think and encourage them to apply this fundamental body of knowledge to the solution of practical problems. The comprehensive nature of this book makes it a useful reference both in graduate courses and for professional practice. The seventh edition continues to be an excellent tool for teaching the subject of chemical engineering thermodynamics to undergraduate students.

  • Thermodynamics

I bought this book for my Thermodynamics class. If I had a choice I wouldn't have choose this book for the class but since in is for a class I had to buy what was required. The book does not give a lot of good examples or even highlight major topics. A couple of the problems in the back of the chapters are not the best. For example, the book tells the reader multiple times that internal energy cannot be measured just the overall change in internal energy. Then, one of the problems gives you a value for internal energy and tells you to solve for the overall change in internal energy. This does not make a whole lot of sense when they tell you that an individual value for internal energy cannot be measured.

  • Shipping was very fast but

Book is slightly different than the US version. It is in SI units so it doesn't have all the information that the US version. They offered a return, but still who wants the hassle.

  • Clean book, great price.

The book came in with a seal and was very clean, no scratches, bends, rips, or marks on it. For the price it's a good deal for the alternative original version of the book which is almost entirely the exact same.

  • Cheap version!

I was expecting a INTERNATIONAL VERSION of the book but then what arrived is a cheap INDIAN EDITION. The print is TERRIBLE, POOR paper quality and some of the pages HAVE DIRT.
