    The book is a bargain price and good enough to read although it has water damage cover.

    The book I received has a water damage at one corner of hardcover, but it is still good enough at this bargain price much lower than a brand new copy. No underline nor highlighting marks that I do not like to see on printed pages. However, if you are thinking of giving this lower priced book as a gift to your friends, you should buy a brand new book. I am a retired engineer, and I not picky on outside appearance of a book, as long as it is not torn apart. I have not finished reading the whole contents, and cannot tell about the quality or credibility of what the author wrote in this book.

    Every American Needs to Read this Book...

    Very well-written, easy to understand book. I appreciated the fact that this book was not out to bash the Muslim religion and stayed away from offering opinions. Instead, it stuck to giving historical facts about the life of Muhammad and the early years of Islam. Americans are woefully ignorant of the Muslim religion and know little more than what they learn in 2 minute news stories. Thus, they cannot possibly understand the dynamics at work in the Middle East and with radical Islamic groups around the world. This book gives a backdrop and foundation to understanding the motivation and thought process as well the diversity of thought throughout the Muslim community today.

    The Truth about Mohammad

    Using Islamic texts, exclusively, Spencer demonstrates who the historical Mohammad was. Not the peaceful, merciful man of the people, but a conniving, trecherous man, not above murdering people he befriended, nor breaking treaties when it suited his hidden purpose. He uses his alledged contacts with Allah, thru the Archangel Gabriel, to legitimize contradictions already recorded in the Koran. Yet he and his sucessors claim every word, in the Koran, was directly from God, contradictions, Satanic Verses and all. The Alhaditha (biographies of Mohammad) and Sunnah (regulations by Mohammad & learned Islamic scholars) confirm the true nature of Mohammad as a liar, thief and manipulator par exellant.
