    This small book is the equivalent of a very good music teacher. Having no experience beyond grade school song books, having no instrument to practice on, still I found myself comprehending the lessons. Excellent for a wide range of ages and it's packed full of simple, clear instructions from first to last pages. Note that it addresses both piano and guitar with additional notes for other instruments.
