Good condition.except for that has some pencil marks at the bottom of the pages. It looks more like random lines and scribbles rather than actual handwriting.

Just what I needed for school!

This is the exact book I needed! I ordered this same book through Amazon & eBay and eBay got it right!!! When ordering make sure that you get the full volume which is bigger and thicker & not the summary volume which is smaller!

    • Excellent Bible

This is a great Bible for reading and for study. The language is not King James poetry, but the translations are more correct. The language is more modern and understandable. The references and explanations are clear. The maps help put Biblical events in geographic context.

    • Absolutely wonderful product. Worth the money

Purchased this book because it was required for a UCSB religious studies course that I am taking (RG ST 115a with visiting Professor Smoak). I love this book. As someone who grew up with without religion, I wanted to take a course so that I would be familiarized with such a (Western) culturally important text. This Bible has beautiful, concise summaries, interesting linguistic features mentioned in the notes, document composite history notes, etc--all neatly packaged in a pleasurable read. The pages are thin, in the way that one would expect in a typical Bible (which you may or may not like), and there are wonderful diagrams to aid in visualizing important items e.g. the Tabernacle. So glad that I purchased this book to be my own instead of renting it!

    • Very useful for the business.
