Sorry....this book is worthless!!
I thought this would be a fun book of opposites to read to my toddler...designed for the baby through preschool demographic...younger infants would not be entertained this as its simple, monotonous and I see nothing to engage a toddler either! Its supposed to be a cute, fun , silly book...but it is so simple that a child could have written it..try this excerpt: "Apple Pic is Yummy, mud pie is yucky"...and EVERY single page has the exact same format! Then as if this book already lacked in imagination, it is though the author completly gives up on ideas at the end "Ice cream is yummy, too much ice cream is yucky"!!!!! Sure, parents might get a laugh or two out of this...what parent has not rescued a child from eating the wrong thing, but when page, after page, after ... This sounded like a cute book, but was just plain stupid, and sits on the bookshelf in favor of better - much better - titles!!

Good Book for children but condition not as perceived.
Bought this book for my daughter. I read all the series of books except this one and i was very pleased that this one was just as good as the others. The Author has a great series of book that can help your child learn a lot from. I would recommend the book to a friend who has a early learning child.

Worth having
It is repetitive but my daughter LOVES this book. She's 2 and 1/2 and gets it every time we go to the library. I didn't care so much for it b/c reading it over and over gets really old b/c it is so repetitive but I'm finally buying so we can quit renting it. However, she really enjoys it and reads over and over. She does carry over some things like that mommy's coffee is yucky (and she leaves it alone).It is repetitive but my daughter LOVES this book.
