    Great action story!

    I stumbled across Harlan Coben a couple of months ago... I travel extensively so I go through a lot of books and I picked up one of his without any real idea of what to expect. I was blown away! Since I do read a lot of books, I am a little skeptical about claims that you won't be able to put down the book... I really have had a hard time putting down his books! After that first book, I have now read about a half dozen of his books and I have not been disappointed with any of them. This book, like all of his books, starts off quickly, grabs you within the first few pages and doesn't stop until the final page. In addition to the action, Harlan manages to throw in numerous twists and surprises that keep you from getting bored. "No Second Chance" starts with the main character getting ...

    Too Many Words

    The physical quality of the book is fine. It's the writing that I didn't like. Too many words for a supposedly thriller story. You could take this book and remove about 50% of the words and you'd have a great, fast reading story. Nowadays I see this a lot in writers who spend too much time distracting us with mental dialogue and back history that completely destroys the momentum of an otherwise interesting story. I give Mr. Coben a C for effort, but it needs severe editing.

    Suspenseful Page Turner

    Harlan Coben writes books that are addicting, I just want to keep reading, and when I finish one, I look forward to the next. This was one book that kept me guessing until the end, and looking forward to the little free time I had most days to continue reading. I highly recommend it.
