    Cherished Childhood Tomfoolery

    These books along with other works of the late and still quite great Shel Silverstein are heirlooms of my younger years. Sure, I could’ve found each and every poem in this book as well others somewhere online. But to have a physical paper copy really powers the time machine of the human mind.

    Book sound, but not as good as new.

    paperback cover was ripped and 20% missing. Could tell it was an older book. Usually the books are in such good shape I don't mind giving them as gifts. I wouldn't feel comfortable giving t his one.

    Great imaginative fun for all ages.

    I grew up loving Where The Sidewalk Ends and have a fond admiration for the work Shel Silverstein has done to enhance the lives of so many growing young minds. I decided to purchase Falling Up as a means to inspire my own children's poems/stories and it's just as fun as I was anticipating. There are a few poems that could mean much more to an adult or parent than it would a child, which is one of the reasons his work is so palatable--its so welcoming of all ages. There's a bit here for everyone--some of it thoughtful, some of it silly, some is just absolutely absurd, but it's all really wonderful. Shel Silverstein was a talented genius with a warm heart and it's so evident in this book.

    BRAND NEW BOOKS IN PERFECT CONDITION. I LOVE THE AUTHOR AND AM COLLECTING HIS BOOKS FOR MY SON AND NEPHEW. SO, I WAS THRILLED TO FIND THESE BOOKS AT A GREAT PRICE AND IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS. SHEL SILVERSTEIN IS A FABULOUS AUTHOR FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE. AN ABSOLUTE JOY TO READ WITH A CHILD. HIS POEMS ARE RIDICULOUS AND OUTLANDISH TO THE DELIGHT OF ANYONE WHO READS THEM. HE STORIES ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFL AND CONTAIN MESSAGES THAT WE CAN ALL GAIN FROM AT ANY AGE!
