I bought "The Doctors Book of Home Remedies for Dogs and Cats by Prevention Health Books" several weeks ago for under $10.00. I had bought one in 1995 for about $40.00 and loved it. I loaned it to so many friends, I lost tract of it. The book is extremely well written and easy to follow. The index covers almost every possible subject relative to owning dogs or cats. From how to choose, care for, feed, and maintain a healthy pet. I especially love the "obedience & problem solving" topics as well as how to determine if a symptom (or ailment )can be addressed at home or if a vet needs to be contacted. This book has eliminated many obedience problems with my pets and saved me many dollars for vets & obedience training professionals. The tips are practical ... I bid on this book because my wife and I love our animals and my relitives have animals too. I am asked alot by family members about their pets problems and needed a refference guide. This was a good buy because it puts forth in laymans terms how to pick up on any problems that your pet might be having that other wise might go unnoticed.Some of the remedies in the book our vet had not herd of but was very interested in them. I loaned him the book and he now has a copy of his own. I am glad I found this on Ebay and as with many other items that I have got I am very satisfied. ---countryboat---I bid on this book because my wife and I love our animals and my relitives have animals too. Awesome book. Tells you everything you need to know about animal care.
Both of my daughters call me if something is wrong with their dogs or cats. I then pull out my copy of this book. I have used mine since it first came out. It has clear & practical remedies in language that I can understand. I finally decided that I would get them their own copy.
