    I love this book I have read this book numerous times until I had to replace it. If possible you should read the Secret since Ransome is the second book in the series.

    Medieval Romance with handsome Highlander knights

    This book was the first one I read on Scottish knights, actually Highlander knights. I loved it. It is one of my favorites. I just couldn't put it down. Reading this book, especially someone who is a sucker for goodlooking knights, will make you wanna wish to time travel back in time. It is a story about a handsome knight rescueing a maid from Evil. Garwood captivates your attention right from the start of the story. The story is flows with no boring parts in the book. I just wish, Garwood would have added an Epilogue to this story because I wonder what happened to fictional characters. I still give this book 5 stars.

    Ransom--one of the best Garwood books!

    I first had a grasp of Garwood's book just this year and it was the book The Secret. I then looked and buy every single Garwood book I find. Ransom is my most favorite Garwood book. I really shed so many tears while reading this book. It really touched my heart, my soul. There was never a time that I became bored while reading the book. It is indeed one of the best, if not the best book Garwood has ever written. Two thumbs up!

    Fine title.

    I love this book. I really enjoyed the plot and this author always writes in a very clear way that you feel like your right there with the characters. It was great to go back and read about characters from other books this author wrote.

    Ransom by Julie Garwood

    Loved the book. Another wonderful romantic novel by Julie Garwood. Set in the days of Kings, and Highlanders, where brute strength ruled and women swooned over masculinity and gentleness. Makes a woman wonder if there are men still like this out there today in the real world. I could read this kind of book over and over. Definitely a recommended read.
