Observations on the Perils and Rewards of Art Making
If you are not an artist, you might wonder what on earth an artist has to be afraid of and why there would even be a need for this book. If you are an artist who has experienced “creative block” then you probably understand. Art & Fear explores the way art gets made, the reasons it often doesn't get made, and the nature of the difficulties that cause so many artists to give up along the way. This book is not a good choice for artists who are completely confident in their work. It is also not a good choice for artists who need help in figuring out practical solutions to the problem of creative block. While this book is empathetic to artists who are struggling with fear, it doesn’t do much to address the solutions; it mostly just elaborates on the problem. It gives you the sense that you ... this guy is a wacko dont waste your money He is not a painter but a photographer and he acts like he know artists/painters it hooks you at first then gets real bizarre........... used larger words that sound like it means something but it doesnt ........ look him up on youtube he is a nut
