This series was hard to put down.
I read all four books over a two week period even though we had out of town guests during that time. The characters were wholesome and spiritually encouraging. I liked that Bible verses were used here and there as the basis for decisions that were being made. In one case, a morning worship service message was quoted and it was encouraging to me. Sometimes, during the reading of "Loving", I felt that all the spiritual content from all the key characters was unrealistic. Though there were situations where the carnal nature of man could be evident, the characters took the high road every time. In this sense it did not feel realistic or true to life. Kingsbury is the BEST author-realistic stories!
Karen Kingsbury is the best author I have read. She makes her characters come to life and they have very realistic life experiences. Everyone doesn't live happily ever after, but God makes good out of even our negative experiences if we let him. Karen shows us that! I wish she could write as fast as I read because I simply can't WAIT for her next book to come out each time I finish one!

Great book and great story, Karen Kingsbury is the best writer ever!!
Karen Kingsbury is one of the best writers I have every read. She has done a great job of telling about a Bailey getting out into the world and finding her way with the ups and downs. The heart aches and everything. I just want Bailey with Cody and not with Brandon, just me. Great book and can't wait for next book to come out in October.
