    The Modern Magi

    I bought two additional copies of this book because I absolutely loved the story. It sums up in just a few chapters the true meaning of Christmas. The main character, Annabelle, wants to honor Jesus by traveling to the Holy Land and leaving a gift at the site of the manger. Try as she might her plans are thwarted and year after year she gives away her savings to individuals in need. She has a heart condition and doesn't really have the luxury of time to plan and save again and again for her trip. If I tell you more, I'll spoil it. It is a sweet, touching story with wonderful conclusion and you will enjoy it, no matter your age or religious affiliation.
