    Patton on Leadership

    This is a must read book for anyone interested inleadership, even if you may have misgivings on the type of leader that George S. Patton was depicted to be as I did initially. The text presents a little more than one-hundred thoughts and philosophies of the hard-nosed, dedicated military commander, and evaluates them in relation to leadership skills that can also be transferred to any business and company as well. This book emphasizes many of the general's "straight forward" and sometimes crude methods for accomplishing a task he was assigned, but the author also provides many of the general's own accounts to justify his actions and to provide other qualities of General Patton that was previously unknown at least to this reader.     Great perspective on leadership!

    Great book for anyone who desires to be an effective leader. Well written, easy to read. This book gives both a breif introduction to and histroy of General Patton's life. The lessons learned in this book can immediately applied to day-to-day leadership skills in any business.
