    Great book to encourage interest in medicine

    I have used this book for several years and it is challenging to my students and opens doors to questioning the medical community and ignites a desire to go into the medical field.

    Recommended for homeschool use especially for classical historical approach

    We bought this for home school and find that it ties in beautifully with a history-based / classical curriculum. It is clearly written at about the 4th-6th grade reading level, and an excellent read aloud for 2nd grade and up with concise summaries at the end of each chapter.
