The battery works well but I had to charge it in the camera the first time as my Canon charger would not work. You will get a message on camera screen saying all camera functions might not work using a non Canon battery but everything seems to work fine and it will now charge using the Canon charger. I'm using a Canon SX740 camera. BTW Several camera companies are now trying to prevent you from using other battery brands in order to sell their batteries. Excellent seller! Quick delivery!!
